End of Administration Return (EAR) - Relevant dates

The following dates are referred to in the EAR wizard

What is the Commencement Date?

The commencement date defaults to the Start date of the job.

If one of the original appointees continues to be appointed on the job then this will be the commencement date. If appointess have been replaced, the commencement date is the earliest date an existing appointee has been appointed for.

The EAR reports a summary of all transactions for the whole period since the commencement date.

What is the Start Date?

The start date for this report is the period since the last Annual Administration Return. The EAR contains a detailed receipts and payment report for the current period.

What is the End Date?

The date to which you are reporting. Include all transactions.
