To add a Joint estate
- From the toolbar select New > Job.
- Click on Personal Appointment tab
- Tick Bankruptcy
- Click "Next"
- Click "Finish"
The Estate details appear.
Enter the Estate details
Estate Name:
John and Mary Debtor Short Name:
J & M Debtor Estate Matter Number:
1234 State:
NSW Year:
05 Check Digit:
03 Practice Name:
TEST Practice
- Click "Next"
The Add Debtor to Estate screen appears.
- Enter the Individuals details associated with the Estate. Enter Address details.
- Click on the "Personal" tab and complete details for each tab.
- Click "Save and New" to add another debtor.
- click "Save and New" once you have completed the details for all debtors
The Personal Estate screen appears.
This shows that two debtors are linked to the Joint Estate. - Click OK
- Add the separate estates.
- Click +Add.
- Tick the first debtor. Enter the name of the Estate and Short name
- Click OK.
- Click +Add again and tick the second and repeat.
- Click OK
There should now be 3 estates and 2 debtors. Each debtor will be associated with the joint estate and their respective individual estates.
Click NEXT
10. Select the workteam, reporting manager etc from the drop downs and click NEXT
11. Complete the Estate Type, Appointment method etc and click NEXT
Click NEXT
12. Produce Form 12 - Consent to Act
Click FINISH
Click on JOBS under MAIN MENU. You will notice if you search for the job, the separate estates will display indented from the joint estate.
