Directors may not always be listed as preferred (employee) creditors but we still require their information to be setup in the system as various correspondence is addressed to them.
Click on Corporate-> Employee Register-> Add
Complete the directors details (their commence date & birth date can be found on the Company search).
If the director is not listed as a preferred creditor you can save and exit. The director will not appear in the preferred creditors listings.
If the director is listed as a preferred creditor click on the instruction 'Click here if this employee is a preferred (employee) creditor' highlight in blue in the below screenshot. You will be switched to the Employee creditor claim screen where you can complete further details and enter the directors claims.
A director can be marked as a Preferred Creditor of the company at any stage without having to be re-entered. Simply open the director from Corporate->Employee Register and click on the instruction highlighted in blue.
NB: A director, who is also a preferred (employee) creditor will automatically be marked as an Excluded Employee and not marked as Eligible for FEG
