Single Touch Payroll (STP) - Entering Pay periods

Under STP submission you are supposed to provide the period when submitting employee data.

When using the pay wages feature you may enter the pay period:

This information flows through to the STP submission.

Ad hoc or dividend payments

If you make journal entries, dividend or ad hoc, non-batch payments you will need to enter the appropriate pay period when making the STP submission.

EG for a dividend Distribution the dates entered may be:

Current year - Start of financial year to dividend paid date

Full year submit - Financial year

General submission - All dates being the dividend paid date
