ARITA Corporate Template updates (Sept-Nov 2018)

ARITA updates dated 1 September 2018, 7 November 2018, 14 November 2018 have been addressed in the ARITA_updates_Sept_Nov_2018 file.

Registered members of ARITA will receive an email with access codes to FTP site containing the files you will need to update your ARITA templates. An installation guide will also be available on the FTP site.

If you have created a custom copy of the ARITA templates you may need to manually adjust your copy.

Where prospective fees are approved with a possible rate increase the resolution must provide for a specific formula. As such, the wording in the resolution was changed to (highlighted words deleted): “…, that may be increased at a rate of up to [FeeRateIncrease]% at 1 July each year (rounded to the nearest $10),…” This is consistent with ARITA’s other guidance on prospective fee resolutions.

FAQs

I have made my own custom templates based on a system templates released earlier. Will I have to update my custom template manually?

Yes. Only the system templates are automatically updated with changes and given a new version number as per ARITA

I have linked a previous version system template to my task template. Will my task template link (Action) to the system template be updated so it produces the latest version of the template.

Yes. Changing the name of the (System or Custom) Template does not break the link to the original template saved in the Action tab. However the name of System Document Template used in a task will be updated to the new version number/name.

If I look at the merge templates via system files I can see all the versions of a particular template but when I look at the same templates via Manage Document Templates I can only see the latest version. Why?

We do not write over the previous versions of a template. We add the new template version to the Merge Template folder and auto update the link to the latest version in the application. You can only access the latest version of the system template through the application to ensure only the latest/correct version of the system template is being used.
