This error will occur if:
- the document's job category folder does not match against a DMS document classification, or
- the fallback document classification does not exist in the DMS.
Resolutions
- Add a matching document classification in the DMS.
- Add a failover category in the DMS.
Extra Note
Checking the category is the first thing the service attempts to do, so this error may be symptomatic of other factors (i.e. the error may be reported as "Category NOT found" but the error may relate to other factors), such as:
- If the service does not have permission to query the category, or
- The DMS has been ungraded or has a 64-bit version installed
If you are confident the categories exist in both syzstems and should be matching, then escallate a ticket to support.
