This option permits you to submit an update of a prior financial year's data. This option should be chosen where existing payroll data for a prior year has been amended after you have submitted a Full Year Final submission and you want to submit the updated data to the ATO.
This option should also be used if you are submitting a Financial Year Final after the cut off dates as per the ATO guidance on Final pay events
Prior Year Update submissions will default the start and end dates to the prior financial year and the Final Pay Event for financial year TRUE
NB Update submissions do not report back the amounts for wages and tax in the response from the ATO or the Request. Gross and Tax totals will report as 0.00
