What does it mean to have a BMS ID?
BMS ID is an acronym for Business Management Software Identifier. The BMS ID is a unique number, used to distinguish employees within an ABN or Branch. It’s set at the database level of each payroll instance.
Each job in Insol6 has a unique BMS ID. It contains a specific code that includes the ABN of the job and the CAC number. If a job transitions it will continue to use the same BMS ID but the CAC number will change.
For example:
Job type | BMS ID |
VA | xxxxxxBA-ADxF-4607-Bxxx-xxEFBEDCxxxx-xxxxxxxxxxx-2 |
CVL | xxxxxxBA-ADxF-4607-Bxxx-xxEFBEDCxxxx-xxxxxxxxxxx-3 |
The BMSID gets added once you start your STP:
