Entering the meeting time in the software
When you enter the “Meeting date” and “Meeting time” the default value of the UTC Time (Coordinated Universal Time) is set. The UTC time is calculated based on the user's MS Windows regional settings.
If you are in Perth and you enter 3PM the UTC time will be calculated as 7:00 am.
The meeting time displayed for the attendees on the portal
The time of the meeting for portal attendees (UTC Time) will show based on the user's browser. So if the user is in Sydney the time of the meeting will be 6PM based on the example above.
The UTC date is used so attendees in other time zones are presented with the same relative meeting time. The meeting time is important for determining is the voting buttons are enabled.
