ARITA Corporate Template Updates - February 2021

ARITA Corporate Template updates dated 4 February 2021

Released 11 February 2021

Registered members of ARITA will receive an email with access codes to FTP site containing the files you will need to update your ARITA templates. An installation guide will also be available on the FTP site.

If you have created a custom copy of the ARITA templates you may need to manually adjust your copy. 

The below Insol6 Insolvency version of these templates have been updated as described.

07190 (SBR) – LTR – Directors – SBR enquiry information v1_1	The information sheet has been replaced with the new director specific information sheet on SPRs (07196)
07195 (SBR) – LTR – Directors – pre-appointment package v1_1	Correction of italics in the first sentence under the heading Commencing a restructure
07196 (SBR) – INFO – Director information sheet SBR v1_0	NEW Director specific information sheet on SBR process
07198 (SBR) – APP – Directors’ minutes v1_1	Edit to resolution 4 to correct reference to “administrator” to “restructuring practitioner” First line under The Chairperson tabled: has been changed to a point. Point 3 to 6 - formatting fixed up.
12113 (SCVL) – LTR – Creditors – Proposed SCVL following VA v1_0	NEW letter to creditors where a SCVL is proposed in a CVL following a VA. The letter provides information to enable creditors to make a decision about the adoption of SCVL.
12173 (SCVL) – LTR – Members – Notice of intention to adopt SCVL v1_1	Edited to make “As you are aware” optional if a VA  Remove referring queries to the company
17121 (CVL) – LTR – Directors – Pre-appointment package v3_1	Edits to add the new Director Information Sheet on SCVL at page 1 just above Consent to Act. New paragraph "I have included an information sheet on simplified liquidations at Appendix H." New Annexure listed in attachments
17291 (SBR) – APP – DIRRI v1_1	Edit to title of document since there is no declaration of independence for SBRs (but still abbreviated to DIRRI since this is a widely used term)
17323 (SCVL) – APP – Directors declaration of eligibility v2_0	ASIC have released a form so this replaces ARITA’s form from the January release NB the name of this template has also been updated Template has been changed from a word template to a pdf
17324 (SCVL) – INFO – Director information sheet SCVL v1_0	NEW director specific information sheet on SCVL process
17391 (SBR) – LTR – Directors – confirmation of appointment v1_1	Edited to add in the new form to provide supplementary information to the declaration (17394) Declaration date information updated
17393 (SBR) - APP – Directors declaration of eligibility v2_0	ASIC have released a form so this replaces ARITA’s form from the January release Template has been changed from a word template to a pdf
17394 (SBR) – APP – Supplementary information to declaration v1_0	NEW document to supplement the ASIC form which provides more fulsome information on voidable transactions (noting that the ASIC form is one tick a box)
22290 – APP – Notice of meeting v3_1	Correct wrong word – represented replaced with representative in point Proxies of attendance  ] removed from the end of the Proxies paragraph on page 3
22302 – INFO – Proposals information sheet v3_1	Correction of type on second page – simplified spelt wrong
24593 (SBR) – APP – Restructuring proposal statement v2_0	ASIC corrected error in form. 15 days changed to 15 business days. The name of this template has also been changed
26107 – LTR – ATO –GST adjustment notification v1_0	NEW letter to advise ATO of GST adjustment.

The following template changes were fixed by Exalt in the original release however we have still updated the version numbers on the templates.

24594 (SBR) – LTR – Company – ability to comply with plan v1_0	No change to document but there was no version number in the file name so v1_0 has been added to the file name
26201 – LTR – Creditors – Intention to declare a dividend v3_0	No change to document but version number was wrong so this has been corrected.
26209 – APP – EFT details form v1_0	No change to document but there was no version number in the file name so v1_0 has been added to the file name
27501 – APP – Remuneration approval report	V1_1 is incorrectly in the dataroom – has been removed V2_0 CODE has been added back to the data room – this version can be used until the end of March 2021 V3_0 – this is already in the dataroom now. It applies from the end of March 2021 but can be used now.
27503 – WP – Remuneration approval report workpaper	V1_0 is incorrectly in the dataroom – has been removed V2_0 CODE has been added back to the data room – this version can be used until the end of March 2021 V3_0 – this is already in the dataroom now. It applies from the end of March 2021 but can be used now.
34792 (SBR) – LTR – Notify termination of restructure proposal or plan v1_0	No change to document but there was no version number in the file name so v1_0 has been added to the file name
37601 - LTR - Banks - Close account v2_0	No change to document but version number was wrong so this has been corrected

FAQs

 I have made my own custom templates based on a system templates released earlier. Will I have to update my custom template manually?

Yes. Only the system templates are automatically updated with changes and given a new version number as per ARITA

I have linked a previous version system template to my task template. Will my task template link (Action) to the system template be updated so it produces the latest version of the template.

Yes. Changing the name of the (System or Custom) Template does not break the link to the original template saved in the Action tab.
