BAS Validation: Check AUSKey details match the details of the user submitting the information

Note

This error will show when you have entered an intermediary and you are required to enter one.

You will also have entered a valid CAC.

Steps

This error usually occurs when following these steps

1. Open the BAS Wizard
2. The electronic lodgement method is set (Online via ATO SBR)
3. Enter the M2M keystore credential

4. Enter ABN, CAC and preparer details
5. Click "Next"
6. SBR.GEN.AUTH.004 Error occurs
   
   
   
   This error is associated with the access rights attributed to the MyGovID, explained in the M2M article above.
   
   

Once the permission is set to “Give auto access" a valid credential should allow you to move to the next step in the wizard the BAS document list returned from the ATO.
