The majority of payments made to employees in circumstances of insolvency will be salary and wages (SAW). This is the default setting, and any existing or new payment that is not allocated to an income stream will default to reporting as SAW.
The allocation to income types is done at the payment or journal level. This means that one single payment cannot be split across different income types. In the event that this is required, grouped payments can be used. The pay employee wages function will be able to specify which income type the payments are generated in, defaulting to SAW.
Once generated, the income type and/or country code can be changed in the payment or journal.
If an income type requiring a country code is selected, the country code selector will appear and the selection of a country will be mandated in the payment validation.
