Pre-requisite
Make sure the charts of account for "Default (Personal)" has the correct account and account codes, as the COA is created with the job.

Data columns to import
The job and debtor import allows you to import a list of jobs and the debtor record form a spreadsheet. These fields are imported:
- Job Name
- Job Short Name
- Debtor First Name
- Debtor Last Name
- Job Type
- ABN
- Authority Date (Start Date)
- Resolution Date
- Execution Date
- App1 Initials
- App2 Initials "(optional)
- Debtor Address 1
- Debtor Address 2
- Debtor City
- Debtor State
- Debtor Post Code
- Debtor Email
- Debtor Phone
- Matter Number
- Matter State
- Matter Year
- Matter Check Digit
Job dates and Job types
The attached template contains these columns:
- Authority Date (Start Date)
- Resolution Date
- Execution Date
An import with all three dates entered will create a "Part X - PIA" with a "Part X - Controlling Trustee" job history record. with the following dates populated:
Import procedure
To import a list of jobs:

Navigate to the Practice in the practice menu.
- Click the Import/Export Data toolbar
- Select the "Import Custom Data" menu item
The windows folder "Select file" dialogue appears. - Enter the Import details
Select the "Job and Debtor import" from the import wizard. - Locate the file to import
The import filter appears. - Validation screen may appear
- enter any expected validation text - Click Finish to Import the data.
The jobs and debtors are now imported.
