Reviewing search conflicts

Identifying conflicts

Search conflicts are identified by querying data in the Insol 6 database. The current conflict checks performed are:

• Employees
  
  If a director of the searched company has been a previous employee (based on First name and last name), then the employee and the name of the previous appointment will appear in the conflict list.
  
  
• Directors
  
  If a director of the searched company has been a previous director (based on First name and last name), then the director and the name of the previous appointment will appear in the conflict list.
  
  
• Creditors
  
  If a director of the searched company has been a previous creditor (based on First name and last name), then the creditor and the name of the previous appointment will appear in the conflict list (as Counterparty match type).
  
  
• Shareholders
  
  If a director of the searched company has been a previous shareholder (based on First name and last name), then the shareholder and the name of the previous appointment will appear in the conflict list. This will only identify individual shareholdings.
  
  
• Debtors (Bankrupts)
  
  A director of the searched company that has previously been a bankrupt individual will appear in the conflict list.
