If you find that an MS Word document won't merge and:
1. You can open the document template from manage document templates without any popups
2. All the replace fields are created when output
3. The document is output without error
4. The data source is created in the job's data source folder
It's just the data source isn't linked to the output document
To trust the location (this may require IT admin rights):
- Click the Start button
- Type "Internet Options"
- Under the security tab
Select Local Intranet and click "Advanced".
Enter the document management root (the network location where the merge will be performed)
Once you have added these settings try the merge output again.
The result should be as follows:
