Using separate practices for separate offices is a good way to use filters on reporting when understanding the performance of separate practices.
Even though you may implement separate practices, it need not affect the data appearing on practice reports. when you need the filter however, most reports have a "All Practices" or "This practice only" option.
Allowing a practice to report on all practices
To set a practice to be able to include all all practice data on reports, configure the "Practice Settings" as follows:
- Navigate to the Practice menu
- Select a Practice
The practice will load. - From the Practice menu select "Practice Settings"
The Practice Settings form appears. - Tick "This practice can report on jobs owned by all practices"
- Click "OK"
When running practice reports you now have the option to include all data from other practices.
Note
To set up all practices in this way, repeat the process for all practices.
