Single Touch Payroll (STP) - Payroll Accounts

The following changes have been made to the Charts of Accounts.

The following payroll settings have been added to enable software features:

The existing accounts for allowances accounts have been updated with the new settings.

If an account does not exist you need to add a new account and configure the payroll settings.

Other Liability Accounts

The following liability accounts have been automatically added to all Charts of Accounts templates and all existing active job accounts.

• FBT Reportable - Taxable
• FBT Reportable - Exempt
• Union Fees Withheld
• Workplace Giving Withheld

Superannuation Withheld Accounts

There is an extra setting on the "Salary Sacrifice Withheld" to avoid including this figure in the SCG figure (since now there is a requirement to report SGC).
