Practice Security Matrix: How it works

By default the software operates on a single security matrix based on the system's default practice (office).

If you have multiple offices the role permission will be inherited from the Default practice.

Create a separate security matrix for a secondary practice

When defining security role permissions, you may create a separate security matrix permissions for a secondary practice.

To set up another matrix:

1. Select a different practice from the Practice drop-down
2. Click "OK"
   
   
   
   The new separate matrix is created.
   
   
3. Enter permissions for the secondary practice

Restore Defaults

If you only want to manage permissions for all practices then you want to maintain the permission under the default practice. You can remove the secondary practice permissions by clicking "Restore Default Security Matrix" button.
