As part of the v2022.05 upgrade you can now prepare a Dividend letterpack.
You can use a dividend letterpack for both emails and hard copy.
You will need to prepare a Lead email template that will be in the main body of the email. An example is attached. You may need various lead templates depending on the letterpack so you may decide to name this one Lead letter for Dividend emails.
You will also need permission to Manage Document Templates to create a letterpack.
Template Datasource options
To use the Lead letter for emails template in the Dividends letterpack you will need to set the datasource as follows:
And your Dividend letter(s)/Form 549 datasource as:
Dividend Letter Pack
1. Create the letter pack
Click New > Name the letterpack eg Dividend letterpack > click OK
2. Link the Document Templates
Click on the Linked Documents tab > Add Documents > pick the templates you want in the letterpack
3. Tick the Lead Letter for Emails template so it appears in the main body of the email. All other templates in the letterpack will be attachments in the email.
Once you have completed the dividend distribution you can select to run the Dividend Letterpack via the Participants and Advice Printing tab under Creditors Distribution and run as any other letterpack.
NB If you intend to create a new word template for dividends to include in your letter pack note there are specific merge fields for dividends. These can be found by producing the Merge Field listing from Manage Document Templates > Reports > Merge Field Listing.
