You may create and import custom data fields for creditors.
You may match against existing creditors to update the field values.
Note
You need to use an exported spreadsheet containing the CreditorID column so the import may match against the existing creditors.
To import custom data fields and values:
- Add a column to the import spreadsheet
The example here shows:
The Excel column header is Investor=AML
"Investor" is the field group.
"AML" is the field name
"Y" is the value of the field for the creditor - Open the creditor register
- Select the "Importing" tab
- Select the option to "Import custom data value"
Note
Selecting this option will import only the Custom Data values and not affect any other creditor data. - Enter the Custom Data field
The entered value needs to match with the header column in the spreadsheet. - Click OK
The "Select file" dialogue box appears. - Select the Spreadsheet containing the Custom Data column and Data
Note
The "CreditorID" column is used to match the existing creditor for the same job. - Click "Import"
The creditor match appears. All records should be matched to existing creditors. - Click "OK"
The creditors are now updated.
Note
You will have to re-start the software.
